That’s a good point. It’s just my wife and I so we’re not cooking for a large family either. The way we’ve gotten around this is by planning out our meals for the week before you get your groceries. We first plan our meals around what we need to use up before it goes bad. This way we minimize the amount of food that goes to waste. We also make enough to reheat for lunches or dinners later in the week. We’ve gotten to the point where each meal we make is now 4 servings, 1 meal for each of us for dinner and then we both have leftovers to take for lunch.
